LEGAL NOTICE OF HEARING AS TO REZONING REQUEST

CONCERNING PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE 

CORPORATE LIMITS OF CLERMONT, GEORGIA

Notice is given that the Mayor and Council of Clermont, Georgia, shall conduct a planning and zoning meeting and a public hearing as to the rezoning application of Alexander and Courtney Chavez to amend the zoning map of the City of Clermont, Georgia, in order to have a zoning designation under the Clermont Zoning Ordinance imposed as to the 15.76 acre tract(s) of land, parcel number 12063000030 located at 6535 Cleveland Highway, Clermont GA 30527 and owned by Alexander and Courtney Chavez which is within the corporate limits of the Town of Clermont, Georgia, and to have the zoning classification(s) of Agriculture-IV (AR-IV) (and currently having the zoning classification of Single-Family Residential (R-1)).
The Clermont Planning and Zoning Advisory Committee will meet on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the Clermont Chattahoochee Center, 639 Main Street, Clermont. The Planning and Zonings Advisory Committee’s recommendation will be heard by the Mayor and Council at a public hearing on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., at the Clermont Chattahoochee Center, 639 Main Street, Clermont, GA 30527. All parties in interest and citizens shall have the opportunity to be heard at the said time and place relative to the petition and application.
A copy of the zoning request, the property's tax map information, and the Clermont Zoning Ordinance are available for inspection at the Town Hall at 109 King Street, Clermont, Georgia.
The Town Council will take action on the rezoning application at its public meeting, which will be held at the Clermont Chattahoochee Center, 639 Main Street, Clermont, at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

ANNEXATION AND REZONING REQUEST

Notice is given that the Mayor and Council of Clermont, Georgia, shall conduct a planning and zoning meeting and a public hearing as to the annexation and rezoning application of Tim and Martha Merritt to amend the zoning map of the City of Clermont, Georgia, to have a zoning designation under the Clermont Zoning Ordinance imposed as to the 4.2 acres tract of land, parcel number 12039000015A, located at 6698 Mountain Meadow Drive, Clermont, GA 30527 to be annexed into the corporate limits of the Town of Clermont, Georgia, to have the zoning classification(s) of Agriculture-IV (AR-IV) (and currently having the zoning classification of Agriculture-IV (AR-IV) under Hall County Zoning).
The Clermont Planning and Zoning Advisory Committee will meet on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the Clermont Chattahoochee Center, 639 Main Street, Clermont.
